Hersman's senior year capstone or "thesis" project for the department of Kinetic Imaging at VCUarts, SCOPO is an experimental short film exploring the paranoia-ridden mindset of a scopophobe—someone who fears being watched.
In collaboration with actress & performer Emma Lillian, KING is a joyous exploration of both personal and creative freedom. This screen dance piece was borne of Lillian's expressive dance improvisation & Hersman's creative direction.
